In lieu of flowers -- thank a veteran, support labor unions, teach a kid to bunt or make a lay-up, and vote on November 8 to preserve/protect our democracy. Charlie served his nation, union, community, and family honorably and proudly. A man of few words, the informal Navy Motto epitomized his life - Non Sibi Sed Patriae - Not Self but Country. He will be missed by his friends and family immensely.
