Charles R. Franz

Charles "Chuck" Franz, 87, of Fairfield, New Jersey for over 50 years, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017. Beloved husband of Frances Franz (nee Hotz). Loving father of Robert, David, Wayne and their families, Richard & Karin, Kevin, Michael & his wife Angela. Cherished grandfather of Jenna, James, Mia, and Gia. Survived by many family & friends and Max the Mongoose. Predeceased by his first wife Eileen Boyd. Mr. Franz was a retired AT&T Engineer and member of the AT&T Pioneers. He was an Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean War. Chuck loved to travel with his family and camping in Maine. He was the past president for the North Jersey Mineralogical Society and an usher for St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Funeral Saturday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
