Christine (nee Marmo) "Tina" Egan, 85, of Fairfield, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Egan was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Walter Egan.

Loving mother of Kathleen Straus & her husband Andrew, Robert Egan & his wife Gladys, Colleen Tambuscio & her husband Robert and Patrick Egan & his wife Michele. Dear sister of Frances Sabol and Antionette Raia and her late brothers Anthony Marmo, Joseph Marmo and Michael Marmo. Cherished Grandmother of Brian Bergen & his wife Kristin, Kristen Brown & her husband Bill, Robert Bergen, Kaitlin, Matthew, & Kimberly Tambuscio, Megan Egan, Lori Egan, Andrea Mani and Mia Egan. Adored great-grandmother of 6. Also survived by a loving extended family and many nieces & nephews. Christine was born on March 30, 1931 to Francesca and Guiseppe Marmo in Garfield, NJ.
She married Walter Egan in 1956 moving to Fairfield in 1961. Prior to her marriage Christine worked for Walter Kiddie & Co. and later worked primarily as a homemaker raising her children and devoting her time to family. Later in life she worked alongside her son Robert and husband Walter at Cubby's Restaurant in Hackensack. Tina enjoyed walking daily, reading her magazines and spending time with her family.

Funeral Wednesday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM Wednesday at St. Thomas More Church. Entombment Gate of Heaven Garden Mausoleum.

Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 6-9PM. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
