Christopher Francis Walsh, Jr., 81, of Fairfield, NJ, born in Newark, on Monday, January 9, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Lois (nee Hines). Loving father of Susan & her husband Thomas Bentz, Michael & his wife Janice Walsh, James & his wife Helene Walsh, Thomas Walsh, and the late Christopher Walsh III. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Michael, Christopher, Robert, Erin, Heather, Shawn, Derek, Ashley & Sasha. Adored great-grandfather of five. Also survived by his loving caregiver Naira. Mr. Walsh was a Korean War Navy veteran and a member of American Legion Post 1000. He was a member of Local 855 Plumbers, Pipefitters and Sprinklerfitters Union. Graveside service Thursday at 11 AM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Arrangements under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield.
