Christopher Kenny

Christopher Kenny, 16, of Fairfield & Essex Fells, New Jersey passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Beloved son of Kelly & Peter Kenny, Jr. Loving brother of Peter Kenny, III. Cherished grandson of Kathleen & the late Timothy Reihl and Peter Sr. & Lee Kenny. Also survived by many Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. Chris was a sophomore at West Essex Regional High School where he wrestled in the 106 lb class. He also wrestled for The Scorpions Wrestling Club in Fairfield for the past 10 years. Wrestling was his world which was evident by his many accolades, he was a 3 time NJ State champion and multiple national individual and team champion. Words can not express how deeply he will be missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 30, 2-6PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Memorial Mass Saturday, January 2, 9:30AM, St. Aloysius Church, Caldwell. Inurnment Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. A foundation to support wrestling students will be set up at a future date for donations.
