Clara L. Gnecco

Clara L. Gnecco (nee Reale), 89, of Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Beloved wife of 69 years to Robert Gnecco. Devoted daughter of the late Mary (nee Palma) & Joseph Reale. Loving mother of Claire & her husband Chester Plesnarski of Doylestown, PA, and Patricia & her husband Henry Saxon of Montgomery, NY. Dear sister of Helen Souza, Paul Reale, and the late Margaret. Cherished grandmother of Robert Plesnarski, Kara Saxon and Kristi Saxon Ajaeb & her husband Andrew Ajaeb. Adored great-grandmother of Matthew Henry Ajaeb. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gnecco was retired from Peter A. Frasse, Lyndhurst and had volunteered at the Lyndhurst Senior Activity Center for 25 years for which she received recognition from the Mayor. She was a founding member of the Lyndhurst AARP Chapter 4319 and belonged to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Senior Club. She was a long time parishioner of St. Michael's Church. Funeral Friday at 10am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11am at St. Michael's R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
