Clementina "Tina" Bernarducci

Clementina Elizabeth Bernarducci, affectionately known as Tina to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, at the age of 96 at the Bristal Assisted Living Facility in Waldwick, NJ. She was born on August 16, 1928, in Jersey City, NJ to her loving parents Rose (nee Barone) and John Williams.

Tina was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Bernarducci, with whom she shared a devoted marriage of 63 years. They moved from Jersey City in 1957 and built a life in Lyndhurst, NJ. Together with her husband Ernie, she created a legacy of love and family, leaving behind two children, daughter Laura Covais of Sparta, NJ and son Ernest (Susan) of Rutherford, NJ and her cherished granddaughters Andrea Covais (Yuri Grichetchkine), Jeanne Lucibello (Michael) and Marjorie Holtz (Kyle). She was the proud great-grandmother to Michael, Christopher, Virginia, Alexander, Elizabeth, Emilia, and Victoria.

Tina's life was marked by her steadfast presence and commitment to her faith and her community. For more than 50 years, she was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Lyndhurst, serving in the Rosary Society, assisting at Bingo nights and teaching CCD. Her deep unwavering faith in Jesus and her love of the Blessed Mother were an inspiration to all who knew her. Never without rosary beads nearby, she was often called upon by family and friends to say a Rosary for some important intention, and she always reminded them to “give your problems to the Blessed Mother.”

Tina was a beacon of love throughout her life, doting on her children and grandchildren. providing them with unconditional love and support. She attended all their school events and sports games and shared their joys and consoled them in their disappointments. Her friendships brought her great joy and comfort and were a testament to her kind and friendly nature. Tina’s door and table were open to all who knew her. She loved to cook and she spent many hours entertaining and serving her loved ones. It was never too late to prepare a meal for whoever rang her doorbell. Her meatballs are the stuff of legend, and she taught her children and grandchildren the recipe so “they’ll never be without them.”

She held a special place in her heart for her sister, Marie Campanella, and her brother, Patrick Williams, whom she loved dearly and who preceded her in death. Tina also devoted herself to caring for her parents, Rose and John Williams, until their passing.

Those who knew Tina will remember her as a kind-hearted, faith-filled, and friendly woman who brought light and warmth to every room she entered. Her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched with her generosity, her spirit, and her unwavering kindness. We take comfort in knowing that Tina is now at peace, finally reunited with her beloved Ernie, who, as she told anyone who would listen, she fell in love with the first time they danced together. She is now basking in the glory of the Blessed Mother she so adored. Her love and

teachings will continue to resonate with us, and her spirit will remain a comforting presence in our lives. Rest in peace, dear Tina, until we meet again.
