Concetta P. Geraci

Concetta P. Geraci (nee Tedesco), of Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, August 24, 2007 at the age of 86. She was born and raised in Garfield and moved to Lyndhurst 65 years ago when she married her husband, Patrick. She is survived by Patrick and her children, Antoinette Sigrist and her husband Herb, Connie Ascoli, Geri Alfano and her husband Fred, Wayne Geraci and his wife Barbara; eight grandchildren, Robin, Nicole, Diane, Tracy, Joe, Christine, Melissa and Wayne; eight great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jaclyn, Gianna, Melanie, Tony, Madison, Jessica and Ryan. She was predeceased by her sisters, Rose Day, Sadie Luterzo, Antoinette Manzo; and her brothers, Joseph Tedesco and Tony "D" Tedesco. Mrs. Geraci, also known as Connie, and Mrs. "G" to some, was employed by Ornstein's Fashions for many years in Lyndhurst and Passaic. She retired in 1975. She was a member of the Ladies Garment Union, Lyndhurst Friendship Club & St. Michael's R. C. Church. She will be missed very much, but always remembered for her pleasant, loving and gentle ways. Family and friends will be received at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst NJ Monday 7-9pm and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service Wednesday 9am at funeral home, 10am at St. Michael's R. C. Church, Lyndhurst. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
