Courtney Jill Castro

Courtney Jill Castro, 36, of Clifton, NJ passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 3, 2013 leaving a tremendous void in the lives and hearts of countless loved ones. Courtney earned her degree from Rutgers, The State University of NJ in 1999. She worked for 14 years at Fabian Couture Group International as Executive Assistant to her friend and mentor President Alan Weiss. Courtney is the beloved daughter of Jorge E. and his family in Puerto Rico & the late Jill (nee Torpey). Loving niece and godchild of Janice Torpey, and the late Jack Torpey III. Predeceased also by her loving grandparents Virginia & John Torpey Jr. Courtney is survived by her soul mate Sean Kreager; best friend and "sister" Cheryl Clune; and many relatives and friends and her favorite four legged friend Lexi. Miss Castro was a member of the EDS Awareness Group. Funeral Friday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to visit on Thursday 3-7 PM.
