Daniel Coranoto

Coranoto, Daniel, of Sparta, NJ, formerly of Lyndhurst and Pompano Beach, Florida, on September 23, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Sarah (nee La Rosa). Loving father of Daniel Coranoto, Barbara Coranoto and MaryAnn Corino. Dear brother of Amelia Bucaro, William Coranoto, the late Marie Ippolito, Rose Tischio, Gerald and Vito Coranoto. Cherished grandfather of Raymond, Rita, Ronald, Paul, Christina and Anthony. Mr. Coranoto resided in Lyndhurst for over 70 years before moving to Pompano Beach, Florida in the 1980's and moving back to New Jersey to Sparta 2 years ago. He was a self-employed plumber for over 60 years retiring in 1976. Mr. Coranoto was a member and past president of the Knights of Columbus in Lyndhurst. He was a 4th Degree Knight. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus of Pompano Beach, the Elks Club of Lyndhurst, the South Bergen Masters Plumber's Association and the Circle Club of Lyndhurst. He was a parishoner of Sacred Heart RC Church. He also served on the Lyndhurst Board of Education for 6 years in the 1950's. Funeral Monday 8AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 9AM at Sacred Heart RC Church. Interment in St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi, NJ. Friends will be received Sunday 2-7PM.
