David F. Mitchell, 61, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family of Sunday, June 5, 2022. Beloved Husband of Karen Mitchell. Loving father of David, Christina & her husband Nurz Youssef. Loving son of Elaine (nee: Coleman) Mitchell and the Late George S. Mitchell Sr. Loving brother of the Late Bruce Mitchell. He is survived by his siblings, Laura Settembrino, RuthAnn Bocage & her husband George, George Mitchell & his wife Janet, Alice Ryan & her husband James, Janet Catanese & her husband James. Also survived by his mother-in-law, Lorraine Bartholemew, brother-in-law James, and sister-in-law Deborah. He will be missed by his grandson Wes Youssef. "Uncle Mustache" is also survived by his nephews, Marc & Ricky Settembrino and James Ryan, nieces Lindsay Spaulding & Rachel Bocage. David was a member of Carpenters Union Local 523 and was a self-employed carpenter and painter. David was big fan of the Giants football team and known for his line "I got a guy." Friends will be received Thursday 4-8pm at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst. Cremation private.
