Diana Egarian

Diane Egarian (nee Aslanian), 90, of Highland Park, NJ, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021. Born in Brooklyn, NY on October 26, 1930 to John and Mary Aslanian, Armenian Genocide survivors who raised Diane and her cherished, late brother John Aslanian with love, hard-work and compassionate values. Beloved wife of the late Harry Egarian; Loving mother of Robert and Marjorie Egarian and her husband Jim Appleton; Cherished grandmother of Harry Egarian, Gabriel and Talene Appleton; Cherished sister-in-law to Marlene Aslanian Sarafian; Devoted Aunt of Fabienne Barton and her husband Dave, Nadette Altoonian and her husband Haig , Steven Egarian and his wife Bonnie. Adoring Great Aunt to Nayiri, Paul, John Barton, Solene and Chloe Altoonian and Taylor Egarian. Diane was blessed to know and love her husbands niece Marguerite Dilimetin, wife of the late Tony Dilimetin, their children Gregory, Dawn and Laura and their precious children. Great nieces Anahid, Astrid, Nadya, Meline, Ani, great nephew Raffi and dearest cousins Virginia Clarke, June Semon, Louis & sister Setta Frankian, Shakeh Basmajian and their families are all loving and cherished members of Dianes extended family. Diana was a member of St. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church in Ridgefield, NJ. Her Armenia heritage, faith in God, love of family and positive attitude guided her life. Dianes family looks forward to honoring and remembering Diane with extended family and friends in a celebration of her life planned for early June.
