Dolores Louise Szemple(nee Severo) "Grandma Dogs", 84, of Bayonne, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, Septemeber 20, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Edward F. Szemple. Loving mother of the late Edmond Scott, Craig Francis Matthew, Lizabeth Ann Kane, Brett Jon & his wife Lisa, the late David Michael, Eric Joseph, Jennifer Louisa Zbuchalski, Rebecca Mary Cantale, and Alexandra Kisielewski & her husband Kevin. Adored grandmother of Alesha, Eric, Rachel, Victoria, Daniel, Brian, Megan, Ashley, Shannon, Delana, Kendrick, David Jr., Jessica Marie, Ryan, Joseph, Jaine, Jessica, and Kevin. Cherished great-grandmother of eight great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Joseph Severo and Rosemarie Cowley. Dolores was a member of the Grace Bible Fellowship. In the 1950's she was the owner and operator of Baby World on Broadway, a clothing store for babies and children. She was a dog breeder of several AKC champion poodles, owning Jardels Kennel. She gave many lectures as an advocate for Weight Watchers. Dolores and her husband Edward were the owners of Pinto's Pharmacy in Jersey City servicing the community for over 50 years. Funeral Monday at 8AM from the Caiola Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C., Bayonne, NJ. Funeral Service 8:30AM at the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, Bayonne. Interment 11AM Brigadier General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in Dolores' name. Friends will be received Sunday 2-6PM.
