Domenica Panetta

Domenica Panetta, 93, of Fort Lee, NJ passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Giorgio. Loving mother of Rocco Panetta and his wife Maria and Joseph Panetta and his wife Eli. Adored Nonni of Giorgio Panetta and his wife Valerie, Vincenzo Panetta, Nina Panetta, and Daniela Panetta. 

Domenica came to Fort Lee from Reggio, Calabria, Italy at the age of 15. She was a cherished member of her community and a devoted parishioner for over 75 years at Madonna Church where she was part of the Rosary Society. She was also a contributing member of the St. Rocco Woman Society in Fort Lee and the Calabria Society. 

Domenica, who was known for her cooking and baking, loved to take care of all the people around her, especially her loving family. Domenica lived her life fully, traveling the world with her beloved husband. She was a vibrant woman who carried herself with grace and left an impact on everyone around her. 

Visitation will be held from 2PM-6PM on Sunday, December 22nd, at Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, Fort Lee. Funeral Mass Monday, December 23rd, 11AM at Madonna Church on the Hill, Fort Lee, with an entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Madonna Church, 340 Main St, Fort Lee, NJ 07024.
