Donald Krane

Donald Krane, 75, of Pine Brook, New Jersey passed away on Monday June 11, 2018. Beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Cwirko) Krane. Loving father of John Krane and Deborah & her husband Dan Brunetti. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Dylan, Jack, and Thomas. Dear brother of MaryAnne Trabunella & her late husband Joseph. Don was a veteran of the US Navy, serving from 1962-1966. He was a ham radio operator (WA2ELU) since 1959 with the ARRL. Don was an active member of AMSRA (American Micro Stock Racing Association). During the 1980s he was an avid race car driver and assisted with operations at Pine Brook Speedway. In 1996 Don retired from IBM as a Senior Regional Support Specialist after 30 years. He went on to work at The Craig School in Mountain Lakes as Building Maintenance Manager before retiring in 2012. Don loved spending time in the Poconos and was proud of the year-round vacation home he built in Sterling, PA. Funeral Saturday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Pius X Church, Montville. Interment 12:30PM Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
