Burns, Dorothea Dolores (nee Matysek), 88, of Fairfield, NJ passed on Thursday, May 2, 2013. Beloved wife of the late William Stadler Burns, Sr. Loving mother of William Stadler Burns, Jr., Diane Dolores & her husband Thomas J. Cawley, Jr. and Michael J. & his wife Catherine Burns. Dear sister of Agnes Vanecek, Lawrence, Charles, Eugene, George and the late John R. Matysek. Cherished grandmother of Christina, Laura, Allison, Thomas, Emily & Karli. Mrs. Burns was an executive secretary for Sun Tour Bicycle Components. Dorothea was a member of St. Thomas More's Single Senior Volunteer Group which included widowed and other single women in social activities. She was an active member of St. Thomas More Church and volunteered for CCD and in the office Rectory. Friends will be received Monday 9-10:30 AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral mass Monday 11 AM at St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
