Dorothy C. Kessel (nee McCrea), 89, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey passed away on Monday November 22, 2021. Beloved wife of the late George R. Kessel, Sr. Loving mother of George Kessel, Janice & her husband Joseph Chapman, Dorothy & her late husband Steven Boerio, Steven Kessel, and the late Marjorie Weintraub & Thomas Kessel. Cherished grandmother of Heather, Kari, Nicole, Krysta, Corinne, TJ, Stephani, & Joey. Adored great-grandmother of Nicholas, Jason, Talia, Tyrell, Kira, Dominique, Max, Chloe, & Sienna. Mrs. Kessel was Lyndhurst's hometown Mrs. Claus and brought joy to so many throughout the years. Memorial Service & 90th Birthday Celebration Sunday, November 28, 12-4pm, with a prayer service at 12:30pm, at the Woman's Club of Rutherford, 201 Fairview Avenue, Rutherford. Cremation was private. Arrangements under the direction of the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield VA 22116.
