Dorothy Miaskowski

Dorothy Miaskowski (nee Kapuscinski), 82, of West Lafayette, IN, died at Heritage Health Care on Wednesday, December 5, 2007. Born in Bayonne, NJ on March 31, 1925 to the late Emil and Sophie (Jablonski) Kapuscinski, she had also resided in Lyndhurst, NJ and Lady Lake, FL. She married Edward Miaskowski on September 19, 1948 in Bayonne, NJ and he preceded her in death on February 8, 1994. Mrs. Miaskowski was most recently a secretary for Prudential Insurance for ten years. She was previously a secretary for the FBI and the US Navy during WWII at Bayonne Naval Base. She enjoyed gardening. Surviving are two daughters: Joan McShane (husband, Larry) of West Lafayette, IN and Diane Wagner (husband, Frank)of Hopatcong, NJ. Also surviving are two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Monday at 10am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst NJ. Funeral Mass 11am St. Michael's R. C.
