Dr. Theodore R. Grawehr

Dr. Theodore R. Grawehr, 83, of Montville, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Charnogurksy) Grawehr. Loving father of Mark & his wife Becky Grawehr, Deborah & her husband John Glinko, Julianne & her husband Paul O'Leary, Richard & his wife Lisa Grawehr, Lisbeth & her husband John Bologna. Cherished grandad of Carissa, Kristin, JT, Kristy, Matthew, Morgan, Nicholas, Joseph, Debbiegrace, Emmajoy, & Trevor. Adored great-grandad of Dylan. Dear brother of Peter Grawehr, and the late Bernard Grawehr and Rita Tironi. Brother-in-law of Kay and Ellen Grawehr and Rocco Tironi. Dr. Grawehr was a Captain in the Army Medical Corp serving from 1954-1966. He graduated from Seton Hall College of Medicine & Dentistry where he received a high scholastic award for academic excellence. Ted was a dentist for 30 years at his practice in Towaco before retiring in 1991. He was a scholar but also the kind of man anyone would be happy to call their friend. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 31, 10-11AM at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Fairfield. Memorial Mass 11AM. Interment St. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery, Boonton.
