Thomas grew up in North Newark on Highland Ave in a vibrant Italian American family, where he learned the values of love, wisdom, and thoughtfulness, which he carried throughout his life, where he established the foundation of his lifelong love of learning and service. He graduated from Newark Academy in Livingston, NJ, setting a precedent of academic excellence, which he continued at Upsala College in East Orange, NJ. Thomas's pursuit of knowledge led him to the New York Chiropractic College in Long Island, NY, from where he graduated and later attended Medical School in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, enriching his understanding of global medical practices.
In his professional life, Thomas was deeply respected by his peers in the medical community. As a past President and Member of the New Jersey State Chiropractic Board, he made significant contributions to the field. His passion for sharing knowledge found an outlet through teaching at the Morris County Police Academy and the University of Bridgeport. He proctored the New Jersey State Chiropractic Board Examinations, helping to shape the future of chiropractic care in the state. Dr. Senatore's influence reached far beyond his professional work. He was a long-time resident and supporter of Fairfield, where he was known for his generosity and community involvement. Thomas's love for his family was unparalleled. A loving father to Laural, Thomas Jr., and Nicholas (Victoria), he instilled in them the values of wisdom, kindness, and integrity. He was a beloved husband to Natalia, with whom he shared the joys and adventures of life. His brother Sal, along with his nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends, will remember Thomas for his generous spirit and thoughtful guidance. His former wife, Kim, mother of his children, shared in the upbringing of a family that cherished Thomas's ever-present love and support. His family was the cornerstone of his world, and their love and memories will endure as his greatest legacy.
An ardent lover of the arts and culture, Thomas's interests were as diverse as they were rich. A proud Italian American, he relished in collecting antiques and coins. His appreciation for the classic narratives was evident as he enjoyed watching old westerns. Music filled his home, with the melodies from classical compositions to the vibrant sounds emanating from his beloved piano and B3. Thomas found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like enjoying a fine cigar and cherishing the time spent at his favorite places, Martha's Vineyard and Atlantic City.
