Edward Richard Slaski

Edward Richard "Sonny" Slaski, 78, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, passed away at home on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Edward is survived by his daughters; Jill Maroulis & her husband Billy, Susan Fox & her husband William, Linda Slaski and Patricia Amick, two sisters; Betty Testa and Eleanor Harker; brothers Mike Slaski and Billy Slaski; nieces Doreen Harker and Theresa Testa; grandchildren Edward Capodanno Jr., Michael Capodanno, Erin Fox, Jessica and Matthew Amick. He was predeceased by his niece Tina, nephews Stanley & Frank, and ex-wife Patricia. Sonny was an Electrician by trade, he worked for Ford Motor Company and retired with Okonite Cable Company, Paterson, NJ. He was a US Army Veteran serving from 1957 to 1959. The son of the late Edward and Anna (Lindsay) Slaski, he was born on January 30, 1938 in Jersey City, NJ and resided in Dingmans Ferry for the past 13 years. Funeral Friday, January 20, 2017 at 12:45PM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 1PM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 11AM-12:45PM.
