Elinor Chubin

Chubin, Elinor (nee Maszczak), of Fairfield, NJ formerly of Newark, NJ on Tuesday, July 11, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Peter Chubin. Loving mother of Janis Piccirillo of Wayne, NJ, and Nancy Meise & her husband, Kenneth of Barefoot Bay, FL. Adored sister of Walter Maszczak of Garwood, NJ. and the late Frank Maszczak. Cherished grandmother of Jesse Piccirillo and Dustin Meise. Mrs. Chubin was a School Secretary employed with Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education for 28 years, retiring in 1991. She was a very active Parishoner at St. Thomas More RC Church, Fairfield, where she was a member of the Bible Study and Renew Group; as well as the St. Thomas More 55 Club, the Prayer Group, Women's Cornerstone, the Rosary Society, the St. Peregrine Support Group, Line Dancing Club, all at St. Thomas More. She was a member of the AARP Chapter 131. Funeral 9AM Saturday from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd., Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM Saturday at St. Thomas More RC Church, Fairfield. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends will be recieved Friday, 2-4 & 7-9PM. Donations may be made to St. Thomas More RC Church, 210 Horseneck Rd., Fairfield.
