Elisa Coleman

Elisa Coleman (nee Salvemini), 85, of Edgewater, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Beloved wife of the late Robert Coleman. Loving mother of Carol & her husband Steven Sahagian and Diane & her husband Tim Forster. Cherished "Nana" of Jacquelyn, Faith, John & Christopher. Mrs. Coleman was a Barbizon Model from 1948-1953, Roller Skating Champion of Hudson County in 1948 and worked for Bruce & Company in West New York, NJ and Carolace in Ridgefield, NJ. She loved to cook, adored her grandchildren and was "Babysitter of the Year". Elisa met her future husband, Robert, at a dance on October 4, 1953. They will now dance again 61 years later in heaven. Funeral Saturday at 8:30 AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Funeral Mass 9:30 AM Holy Rosary R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
