Elizabeth Betty Fedorocsko

March 28, 1931 — March 9, 2016

Fedorocsko, Elizabeth (Betty), 84, passed from this life suddenly at home on March 9, 2016. Born in Pittston, PA, she resided there until moving to Bayonne, NJ. Her husband Andrew died in October 1982. Betty was also predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Anna (Sulack) McKitish and 8 of her 9 siblings, Alex, Michael, Stephen, George, John, Anna Kobi, Margaret Joseph, and Mary Wisniewski. She is survived by her sister, Helen Billack of Bayonne and many nieces, nephews, as well as her long time special friend, William Kataryniak. She was a communicant of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bayonne and was actively involved in parish activities. Betty was employed as an administrative assistant for RCA in Edison, NJ then joined the team at Lightolier in Jersey City, NJ. She later joined China Overseas Shipping (Costco) in Secaucus as a receptionist. After her retirement she continued to enjoy spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest joy was taking care of others. She truly enjoyed bowling, her trips to Atlantic City, and cheering on the NY Giants and the NY Mets. She was an individual who lived her faith everyday, caring for others more than herself. To her family, she was the one that all revered and loved, always there with affection and encouragement. To her friends, she was an example of a true Christian woman and a friend to everyone she knew. She will be profoundly missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Funeral service Monday 8AM from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C Bayonne. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 9AM at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bayonne. Interment St. Michael's Byzantine Cemetery, Pittston, PA. Friends will be received Sunday 1-5PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 30 East 25th Street, Bayonne NJ 07002.
