Elizabeth M. Gratta

Elizabeth M. "Betty" Gratta (nee Walsh), passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014. Beloved wife of Joseph Gratta (60 years in February 2015). Angel of a mother to Joanne & her husband Sean Hayes, Kathleen & her husband Steven DeVivo and beautiful Nana to Kai DeVivo. She was truly our angel. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret Cignarelli and Anne Walsh. "Betty" leaves behind Camille Della Fave, Diane Valvano and Joseph Cignarelli along with many other loved nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Prior to becoming a full time wife and mother, she worked in the publishing industry on Park Avenue in New York City. Funeral Saturday at 8:30 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 9:30 AM St. Stephen's R.C. Church. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Jersey City Corps, 562 Bergen Avenue, Jersey City NJ 07304.
