Elizabeth Mongiello

Elizabeth (nee Valente) Mongiello, 83, of Fairfield, New Jersey passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024. Beloved wife of Angelo J Mongiello.  Loving mother of Theresa and Michael & his wife Anna Mongiello.  Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Jason, Gabriella, and Deanna Mongiello and step-grandmother of Nicholas and Danielle Clark.  Dear sister of the late Frank Valente & his wife Josephine and the late Sergio Valente & his surviving wife Patricia. Adored aunt of Angelo & his wife Jane, Thomas & his wife Deirdre, Michael & his wife Tracey and Robert & his wife Laurie Valente.  Born and raised in Hoboken, NJ to the late Arcangelo & Marietta Valente. She raised her family in Secaucus before retiring to Fairfield.  Mrs. Mongiello worked for the Secaucus Board of Education from 1981 - 2002 in Secretarial Position, Library and Adult School.  Elizabeth had a large network of friends who she enjoyed greatly.  Friends will be received Friday 9:30 - 11:30AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield.  Funeral Mass Friday 12PM St. Thomas More Church.  Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.  Donations may be made to My Happy Place Animal Sanctuary, 44 Dongan Lane, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 OR Mt.
