Ella Sommers (nee McGuire), 78, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Beloved wife of Harold Sommers. Loving mother of Michael & his wife Mindy Sommers, Richard Sommers, and Sheri & her husband Richard Jarvis. Cherished grandmother of Kaitlyn, Sierra, Megan, Matthew, Isaiah, Jasmine, & Shiloah. Dear sister of Joan and the late Charles, Richie, Donald, Jackie, and Marilyn. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mrs. Sommers was born and raised in Newark before moving to Lyndhurst in 1968. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and listening to the Golden Oldies. Funeral Thursday 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, New Jersey. Funeral Mass Thursday 11AM Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
