Elsie Nickdowicz

Nickdowicz, Elsie (nee Ortenzi), 88, of Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, April 5, 2013. Elsie was born in Peckville, Pennsylvania to Daniel and Santa (nee Bianchetti) Ortenzi. Elsie and her family moved to New Jersey in the late 1940s and settled in Lyndhurst, where she made her home for over 60 years. Elsie retired from Biddleman's in East Rutherford in 1986. Beloved wife of the late Charles Nickdowicz. Dear sister of the late Daniel Ortenzi, Olga Chiapuzzi, Anna Bonini, Mary Cesari and Lena Okunak. Loving mother of Paul & his wife Patricia Nickdowicz. Cherished grandmother of Michael and Melissa & her fiance Gary Grunstra. Elsie is also survived by her longtime companion, her miniature schnauzer Max. Funeral Service Tuesday at 11AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
