Emilio Calabria

Calabria, Emilio, of North Arlington, NJ on Thursday, April 15, 2004. Beloved husband of Ann (nee Manganello) Calabria. Loving father of Pasquale Calabria and his wife Frances, Ralph Calabria and his wife Sharon, Joseph Calabria and Christine Torres. Dear brother of Frances Gangemi, Lena Andronocco, Rose Gangemi, Ellen Famigletti and the late Josephine, Margaret, Domenick and Joseph. Cherished grandfather of Paul, Elizabeth, Julee, Brianne, Devin and great-granddaughter Sydney. Mr. Calabria was born in Jersey City and resided in North Arlington for 34 years. He served in WWII with the Army Air Corp and was a decorated veteran. He worked for Colgate-Palmolive as a carpenter for 35 years before retiring in 1979. Mr. Calabria was a union member with Colgate-Palmolive. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart and belonged to the Musicians Union #248 as a vocalist (tenor). Funeral Monday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Service 10AM at City of Hope Christian Church, Midland Avenue, Kearny.
