Erik J. Midgley passed away suddenly on November 10th. He was born on September 20, 1976 to Eric and Lillian Midgley of Palisades Park. His love for helping the community started as a youth, spending many hours as a volunteer at the Palisades Park Ambulance Corp, and he was a life-long member of the Fairview Ambulance Corp. He was a Supervising Public Safety Telecommunicator at the Bergen County Police and was known as a dedicated employee. Erik was the calming reassuring voice at the other side when individuals were experiencing emergencies for many years. In his free time, he found joy designing and then crafting costumes for comic-con events, bringing to life many characters with his artistic talent. He will be sorely missed in that community and by his many friends.
He is survived by his father and his siblings Kristie and Jorge Sanint, Brooke and Tom Abson, Carrie Midgley, Luke Midgley, Sara and Walter Condi, Candice Midgley and Cody and Samantha Midgley, and his nieces and nephews Mackenzie and Andrew Bartz, Logan Sanint, Cameron and Melanie Abson, Keelan and Fionn Mackey, Austin, Cassandra and Mason Condi, and great-niece Natalie Bartz, among many extended family members. He is predeceased by his mother and nieces Klara Midgley and Faith Condi.
