Ernest John Pecoraro, 79, of Leonia, New Jersey; previously Palisades Park, New Jersey; and originally from Brooklyn, NewYork; passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Cook) Pecoraro. Cherished father of Joy Belgiovine & her husband Corrado, and Jillian McLaren & her husband Drew. Loving grandfather to Julia, Sofia and Isabella Belgiovine. Dear brother of Joseph Pecoraro. Adored son of the late Salvatore and Esther Pecoraro. Ernie will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews, extended relatives, friends and the countless students he taught and coached during his 23-year tenure at Palisades Park Junior/Senior High School. Funeral Monday, September 20 at 9AM from the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Michael Church, 19 Central Blvd E, Palisades Park. Interment George Washington Memorial Park. Loved ones and friends will be received Sunday, September 19 at 2-4PM and 7-9PM.
