Francis Desotto

DE SOTTO, Francis, P., age 88 of Palisades Park passed away on March 31, 2020. Beloved husband of Dorothy A. (nee Jordan). Devoted father of Dianne Bachmansky and her husband Nick, Mark DeSotto and his wife Helen, Lisa Davakis and her husband Michael, Sally DeSotto and Kim DeSotto. Loving Pop-Pop of Christopher, Debbie, Michael, James, and Christian. Great Pop-Pop of Hailey, Avery, Jordan, Alexis, Dante, Tijay, Jayden, Noah and Kylee. Francis is a proud Korean War Navy Veteran. He was a TV Cameraman for the United Nations for 35 years where he traveled the world with UNICEF, an organization that is devoted to aiding national efforts to improve the health, nutrition, education, and general welfare of children. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic visitation was suspended and Francis was buried at the Fairview Cemetery on 4/3/20. A memorial in his honor will be held at a later date.
