Cordero, Frank, 82, of Nutley, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024. Beloved husband of 65 years to Kathleen A. (nee Dente) Cordero. Loving father of Frank & his wife Jean Marie Cordero and Carmen Cordero. Dear brother of Jack Cordero, James Cordero and the late John "Babe" Cordero. Cherished grandfather of Sydney, Carmen Jr. and Paige. Mr. Cordero was a Longshoreman and a proud Navy Veteran. He was a Tin Can Sailor, active in retirement with his ship mates of the USS Wadleigh DD689. He was involved with organized boat racing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, trips to Florida and Disney World and vacationing with his wife. Funeral Friday at 9:30AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10:30AM St. Mary's Church, Nutley. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Thursday 3-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica CA 90401.
