Frank Orbe

July 8, 1943 — December 13, 2024

Frank Scola Orbe, formerly of North Caldwell, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, at his home in St. Augustine, Florida, at the age of 81. Born on July 8, 1943, in Paterson, New Jersey, Frank was the son of Wilson and Patricia Orbe. Beloved husband of Linda Orbe (nee Ubinski), loving father of Christopher and Ryan Orbe. Cherished brother of Virginia, Thomas, John, and Peter Orbe. He was known for his unwavering dedication to both his loved ones and profession.

Frank grew up excelling in athletics, in particular swimming, where he was apart of the 1957-1958 Seton Hall Prep swimming team that was inducted into the Seton Prep Hall of Fame. Frank followed his success at Seton Hall Prep, pursuing a degree in Accounting from Seton Hall University. Upon Completion of his degree, Frank both joined the New Jersey National Guard, honorably serving our country and began his career in accounting at Haskins & Sells Accounting Firm. After honorably completing his service, Frank concentrated his efforts in advancing within his profession. First joining Fred Landau accounting firm, before moving in house with Pacesetter Industries, as Treasurer. After a successful tenure at Pacesetter Industries, he joined Carlisle Collections, as Vice President of Finance, where he helped Carlisle emerge as a successful women's clothing line. After helping Carlisle Collections grow, Frank began winding down his career, privately assisting clients as a Certified Public Account, before enjoying his well-earned retirement in St. Augustine, Florida.

As we reflect on Frank's life, we remember him not just for his professional accomplishments, but for the wisdom, selflessness, humor and his religious devotion he shared with all who knew him. His family and many friends will miss his kind spirit and the countless fond memories they created together.

Funeral Saturday, January 4, 2025 8:30 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30 AM at St. Michael Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa. Friends and family will have the opportunity to pay their respects during visitation at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home on January 3, 2025 3-7 PM.
