Sumowski, Frank P, of Basking Ridge, NJ on Tuesday, October 21, 2003. Beloved husband of the late Natalie (nee Sadowski). Loving father of Carol Ann Strohler and Thomas Sumowski. Dear brother of Anthony and Joseph Sumowski. Cherished grandfather of four. Mr. Sumowski lived in Lyndhurst for 40 years before moving to Basking Ridge 2 years ago. He served on the L.S.T.#516 during the Normandy Invasion. He worked for Western Electric for 40 years before retiring in 1987. Mr. Sumowski was a member of the L.S.T. Association in Oregon, Ohio, the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Feelin' Good Club of Denville. Funeral Friday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM at St. Michael's RC Church in Lyndhurst. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM.
