Gennaro Curcio

Gennaro Curcio, 91, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Gorga, Salerno, Italy to Andrea and Maria Rosa Curcio and came to the United States in 1970. Gennaro resided in Jersey City, NJ before moving to Toms River in 1993. He worked for Holy Name Cemetery for 14 years before retiring in 1984. Gennaro lived life to the fullest. His life was filled with laughter, music and the company of his family. He enjoyed gardening, dancing and making everyone whose lives he touched, happy. Beloved husband of 62 years of the late Filomena Curcio. Devoted and loving father of Maria Curcio, Lisa Tomba, Adrianna Infante & Joseph Curcio. Dear grandfather of Susan, Anthony, Jerry, Christina, Filomena, Marianna, Filomena, Alessandra, Jessica, Ashley & Antonio. Proud great-grandfather of Julianna, Philip, Stefanie, Sophia, Nicholas, Domenick, A.J., Giulia & Isabella. Funeral Saturday at 9:00AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM at Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 4-8PM.
