George Edward Widmer, Jr., 82, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Rose Widmer. Loving father of George Widmer III & his wife Jeanne, and Elizabeth Widmer. Dear brother of Betty Moser, Anna Clark, Richard Widmer and Carl Widmer. Cherished grandfather of George Widmer IV. Beloved grandpa to his furry granddaughter Patriot. Mr. Widmer was a Chemical Operator at Hoffman La Roche for many years. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Post 139 in Lyndhurst. Funeral Tuesday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Monday 4-8PM.
