George H. Danzer

George H. Danzer, age 83, died at home in Harrison on January 19, 2004. Born in Newark, he has lived in Harrison for the past 30 years. He was an operating engineer for Conoco Inc., retiring in 1983. George was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1941 to 1947. He is survived by his wife Anna (nee Brady) of Harrison and his children Carol Ann DeGasper and her husband Peter of Harrison, George H. Danzer of Reston, Virginia, and Diane Borusovic and her husband Richard of Hamilton Square, NJ. He was pre-deceased by his brother Charles Bordea and survived by a brother Daniel Bordea and his wife Rhoda of Utah. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandaughters. The funeral will be held on Friday at 8am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst with a 9am Mass at Holy Cross RC Church in Harrison. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in North Arlington. Friends will be received on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
