George Joseph Dikdan, 87, of Brick, NJ former longtime resident of Fairfield on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Beloved husband of 65 years of the late Margaret (nee Hayek) Dikdan. Loving father of Joe & his wife Michelle Dikdan, George & his wife Vivian Dikdan, Sam & his wife Teresa Dikdan, Michael Dikdan and Jane & her husband Mark Pellecchia. Dear brother of Norman, John, Edward and Anthony Dikdan. Cherished "Giddo" (grandfather) of Matthew Dikdan, Allyson Johnson & her husband Richard, Brian Dikdan & his wife Jennifer, Jennifer Dikdan, Melissa Dikdan, Mark Pellecchia, Jr., Ryan Dikdan and Robert Pellechia. Adored great-grandfather of Emily and Sam Dikdan. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will forever be in our hearts. George worked as an Auto Inspector for the NJ State Motor Vehicle retiring in 1998. Prior to this he and his brothers owned Dikdan Bros. Auto Repair in So. Paterson for over 30 years. Funeral Monday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
