George P. Snyder

George P. Snyder, age 74, died on January 10, 2004 at Prospect Heights Care Center. Born in Rutherford, he lived in New York City much of his life. He was a purchasing agent for Ellery Products Inc. of NYC for 50 years. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. George is survived by two brothers John Snyder, Jr. of Lyndhurst and Frank Snyder of Clifton and three sisters, Cele Checki and Betty Snyder of Boaca Raton, FL and Dorothy Hufferman of Hackensack. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst, with a 10:00am Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received on Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
