George T Crimmins

Crimmins, George T. of Bayonne for 18 years, Secaucus for several years and born and raised in the Heights Section of Jersey City entered into eternal life on May 27, 2017. Beloved companion and best friend of Maureen Casey. Loving Uncle of Cynthia and Patty. He was predeceased by his parents Wallace and Catherine (nee: Sheehan) and his sister Mary Geiskopf. George is also survived by a host of friends. He was drafted into the United States Army after Graduating from Dickinson High School. He served as a Military Policeman in the Central Highlands (Pleiku) from 1969-1970. His primary mission was escorting convoys of men and equipment through enemy territory. George was initially employed as a industrial printer before becoming a warehouseman for Jamesway Corporation and Caldor's Department Stores in Secaucus. He worked for Holiday Tree & Trim in Bayonne for several years before becoming a Transport Driver for United Cerebral Palsy a job he cherished and often referred to his charges as "his babies". Mr. Crimmins was a member of Post #19 American Legion and a loyal patron of the Knights of Columbus Council #371 of Bayonne. Funeral from Koch Funeral Home, 691 Ave. C Bayonne, NJ. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4-8pm. A catholic funeral service will be offered at 7pm followed by Military Honors. Interment Wednesday 10am meeting directly at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In Lieu of Flowers memorial contributions in George's memory would be appreciated to United Cerebral Palsy, 721 Broadway Bayonne, NJ 07002.
