George W. Jarosz

September 27, 1938 — June 7, 2006

George W. Jarosz, age 67, died at home on Wednesday June 7, 2006. Born in Poland, he lived in the United States for the past 55 years. He lived in Kearny before moving to Lyndhurst 21 years ago. He was a butcher for United Meats of Hoboken for 31 years, retiring in 2001. He is survived by his beloved wife Sara (nee Pechillo) who is left with many cherished memories. He leaves behind three devoted sons George Jr, Robert, and Joseph, a loving daughter-in-law Denise and a precioius grandaughter Brianna. He was the beloved brother of Mary Esposito, Alexandra Karras, Sophie Traintifillides, Bernard and Stanley Jarosz, the late Jane Goldhammer and the late Wesley Jarosz. He will be greatly missed by many friends and relatives. The funeral will be on Friday at 8am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst with a 9am Mass at St. Michael's RC Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be recieved Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
