Gerardo Rosa

Gerardo Rosa ,92, of Lyndhurst, NJ passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Aurora Francesca Rosa. Loving father of Filomena & her husband Mario Andriuolo, Vincenzo Rosa, and Carmelina & her husband Alexis Thompson. Cherished grandfather of Carmelina & her husband John Mendyk, Nicholas Andriuolo, and Brandon, Vincent, & Sabrina Rosa. Dear brother of the late Michele, Carmine, & Vincenza Rosa. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Mr. Rosa was born in Vallata, Avellino, Italy where he learned the trade of Blacksmith. In February 1964 he came to the United States where he used this knowledge to join the Iron Workers Union. He worked as a Welder for Adam Black & Sons in Jersey City and Aeroil Products in South Hackensack before retiring in 1993. Funeral Saturday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church . Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
