Gertrude E. Piland

Gertrude E. Piland, 90, of Weehawken, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Piland. Loving mother of Dolores Piland-Ayad, Diane Nasti, Eileen Doyle, Dennis Piland and George Piland. Cherished grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 6. "Trudy" was born in Brooklyn, NY, worked many years as a teacher for the NYC Board of Education and retired in Toms River, NJ where she spent many happy years. A private memorial service will be held at Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, on Saturday, January 21, 2017.
