Gertrude Klimaszewski

Gertrude "Trudy" Klimaszewski (nee Clarke), passed away on Friday, September 4, 2009. Lifelong resident of Edgewater, the town she loved. Predeceased by husband Joseph "Klip" Klimaszewski and parents Henrietta and Thomas Clarke who came to Edgewater in the 1930's. Also predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters-James, Thomas, Andrew, Charles, twins Joseph and Josephine, Dorothy, Mae, Kitty, Rose, Jean and Anne Hehre. Survived by son Joseph Klimaszewski (Edgewater P.D.) and wife Suzanne, daughters Judy Lyons, and Jane Bedell and husband John. Also survived by loving sister Marge Schiess, and adored by grandchildren Brad, Leah, Brian, Lauren, and SSGT. Thomas Lyons (U.S.A.F.) and wife Heather. Cherished by great-granddaughter Cami Judith-Lee Lyons. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral at 9 AM on Tuesday from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Roman Catholic Mass at Holy Rosary Church in Edgewater at 10AM. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. Friends will be received Monday 3-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Edgewater Volunteer First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 72, Edgewater, NJ 07020, would be appreciated.
