Gilbert B. Logatto, Sr., 83, of East Rutherford, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014. Beloved husband of Marie Logatto (nee Lombardi). Loving father of Gilbert B. Logatto, Jr. & his wife Joni. Adored grandfather of Gilbert III. Dear brother of the late James and Daniel Logatto. Also survived by many relatives & friends. Mr. Logatto was a Police Officer for the Borough of East Rutherford for 34 years, serving as chief for the last 12 years of his career. He was past president of Bergen County Chiefs Association and a member of Carlstadt and East Rutherford Rotary. Funeral Monday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM St Joseph Church, East Rutherford. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
