Giuseppe Curcio

Giuseppe Curcio, 69, of Brick, NJ passed away Monday, October 2, 2017, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 13, 1948 in Gorga, Salerno, Italy to Assunta and Antonio Curcio and came to the United States in 1970. Giuseppe resided in Jersey City, NJ for 23 years, then moved to North Arlington, NJ where he resided for 15 years before moving to Brick, NJ in 2008. Giuseppe worked for PSE&G for 33 years before retiring in 2004. He was a hard worker who was loved and respected by his fellow coworkers. Giuseppe enjoyed hunting, gardening, and being outdoors.

Giuseppe's greatest pleasure was being with his family. Giuseppe was the beloved husband of Maria Curcio, whom he was devoted to for 47 years. Proud and loving father of Susan & her husband Philip Verso of Hamburg, NJ; Anthony & his wife Maria of Carlstadt, NJ; Jerry & his wife Melaine of North Arlington, NJ and Filomena & her husband James Phillips of Lakeland, FL. Dear grandfather of Julianna, Philip Jr., Stefanie, Sophia, A.J., Giulia and Emma. He is survived by his mother, Assunta, a brother and two sisters in Italy, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Wednesday 4-8PM. Funeral Thursday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023, to help find a cure for this debilitating disease.
