Gloria Schwartz

Schwartz, Gloria (nee Halpern), 87, of Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey, beloved mom, grandma, aunt and friend, passed away during the early morning hours on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Gloria was born in New York and for many years lived in the Bronx until moving to Lake Hiawatha in 1968, where she lived the rest of her life.

Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Jerry Schwartz. She was the loving mother of Lyn and her husband Jim Sura of Jacksonville, Florida, and Joe and his wife Donna Schwartz of Fairfield NJ. She was predeceased by her son, Ed Schwartz, and is survived by his wife, Julie. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Henry and his wife Lydia, Laura, Kyle, Jacqueline and Amanda. Gloria was also predeceased by her dear siblings, Ray, Bernice, Roberta, Kenny, Norman, Marty and Pearl. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received on Friday at 10AM-12PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Graveside service will be on Friday at 1PM at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Fairview, NJ.
