Helen M. Speros (nee Holic) 100 years of age, died on March 13, 2009. Born in Lansford, PA, she lived in Flushing NY before moving to Fort Lee. Mrs. Speros was a restauranteur with her husband. They owned several restaurants in New York City, including Howard Johnsons across from Radio City Music Hll and Chimes in New Jersey. She was a parishioiner of Madonna Church for 50 years. Helen is the beloved wife of the late William P. SPeros who passed away in 1976. She is the lovoing sister of the late Victoria Kolwye, Mary Gauss and Catherine Butler. Cherished aunt of Susan Butler, Johanna Gauss, John and Jim Kohlwey and Ann Gauss. The funeral is Wednesday at 9AM from the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home 1601 Palisade Ave. Fort Lee with a 10AM Mass at Madonna Church on Whiteman St. Entombment Madonna Mausoleum. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM. Donation may be made i her name to Madonna Church, 340 Main St., Fort Lee, NJ 07024.
