Henry J Sumfleth

Henry J Sumfleth of Wyckoff, NJ, formerly of Lyndhurst, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Henry was born in Union City, NJ in 1937 to Anthony and Leona (nee Wiesner) Sumfleth. He was raised in Jersey City and attended St. John's Lutheran Church. He graduated from Dickinson High School, Jersey City, from Wagner College, Staten Island, NY and received his MLS from Rutgers University. He worked as a librarian for the New York Public Library on Staten Island for 30 years. Henry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maren (nee Lawson) in 1980. He was also predeceased by his sisters Leona Kinley, Marion Loori, and Janet Verriest; by his brothers-in-law Justus Lawson, Lloyd Lawson, and Bryn Lawson, Sr; and by his sister-in-law Randi Lawson. Henry was beloved by many and will be sorely missed by his many surviving nieces and nephews.
